At Alliance Medical Physics, we provide QA/QC services for CR systems on an annual basis. This service is intended to evaluate the performance of the facility’s system and determine if it is operating properly. Testing includes:

• high/low contrast resolution


• CR number calibration accuracy


• spatial/distance accuracy


• cassette erasure thoroughness, etc.

In some cases testing may be dependant upon manufactures QA/QC software and test tools. We also provide cassette evaluations with this service in order to determine the presence of artifacts and defects on cassettes that may compromise image quality.
